Dear Louisa, My wife died several months a go and. left me with four children. Three of them are in school but one is five. One of my neighbors has been taking care of Mary until the oldest child, who is sixteen, comes home in the afternoon but she says she cannot continue to do this. I have a helper who comes in to clean and fix the evening meal but she is not a very pleasant person.
My sister, who lives in another town, suggests that I send Mary to a nursery school rather than pay this helper to an accident on U.S. injured. Burglars Take $150 From Home Sam Hodges, of 203 Kirby Street, reported to city police Thursday night that burglars had taken a money bag containing about $150 from his home while he and his family were away. The money was in a blue bag, and consisted of bills and change he told police. The thieves apparently entered the house through a door which had been left unlocked.
